Elevate Father’s Day Celebrations: Unique Drinks for Bars & Restaurants to Attract Customers

Father’s Day is a special time of the year when we honor and celebrate the dads in our lives. As a bar or restaurant owner, this is the perfect opportunity to attract more customers and increase your sales and profitability by offering unique and creative drinks for Fathers.

Dads appreciate being pampered and indulged, so why not treat them to a delicious, one-of-a-kind beverage? Design a Father’s Day-themed drink menu and let your creativity shine. Consider naming drinks after famous fathers, fatherly activities or hobbies, or even something that showcases your restaurant or bar’s distinct style.

The best part? You don’t have to worry about not having a liquor license, with Premium Blend’s wine-based liquors, you can serve cocktails legally with only your beer and wine license!

Here are some Father’s Day cocktails that will surely delight and impress your customers:

The Wicket Smash

  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 4-5 fresh mint leaves
  • Soda water (to top off)
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint sprig (for garnish)

In a cocktail shaker, muddle some fresh mint leaves. Add Candian Wicket, lemon juice, and simple syrup to the shaker. Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Top off the glass with soda water, leaving some room at the top. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.

The Beer-tini

For the beer-loving dad, this drink is a must-try.

  • 2 ounces Klir Red 24%
  • 2 dashes of hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 4 ounces  light beer
  • Ice cubes
  • Green olives (for garnish)

In a cocktail shaker, combine Klir Red, hot sauce, and olive oil. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and mix the ingredients. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass. Slowly pour the light beer into the martini glass, allowing it to float on top of the vodka mixture. Garnish with a few green olives on a cocktail skewer or simply drop them into the drink.

The Smoked Old Fashioned

This drink is perfect for the dad who loves a classic cocktail with a twist.

  • 3 ounces Candian Wicket 24%
  • 1 sugar cube (or 1/2 tsp granulated sugar)
  • 2-3 dashes of bitters
  • Orange peel (for garnish)
  • Ice cubes
  • Smoking gun or food smoker for the smoke effect.

Place the sugar in the bottom of the mixing glass. Add 2-3 dashes of bitters and stir the sugar and bitters together until the sugar dissolves. Add the Candian Wicket and ice cubes to a mixing glass. Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds to chill the cocktail and blend the flavors. Pour into a Whiskey glass.

Using the smoking gun or food smoker, fill and cover glass with smoke. Allow smoke to remain in covered glass for 1-2 minutes. Garnish the cocktail with an orange twist.

The Father’s Day Fizz

This refreshing wine-based cocktail is perfect for Gin lovers.

  • 3 ounces Martin and Collins 24%
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Soda water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon twist (for garnish)

In a cocktail shaker, combine Martin and Collins, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice cubes. Shake the mixture vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to thoroughly chill the ingredients and combine the flavors. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice cubes. Top off the glass with soda water, leaving some room at the top. Give the drink a gentle stir to mix the ingredients. Garnish with a lemon twist by twisting a piece of lemon peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it into the glass.

The Pineapple Margarita

For the dad who loves a tropical twist, this margarita is a must-try.

In a cocktail shaker, combine Tequesta Agave Especial, freshly squeezed lime juice, and pineapple juice. Fill the shaker with ice cubes. Shake the mixture vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to thoroughly chill the ingredients and blend the flavors. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with a pineapple wedge by sliding it onto the rim of the glass or simply dropping it into the drink.

Creating unique Father’s Day drinks not only adds value to the customer experience, but it also sets your bar or restaurant apart from competitors. Use this occasion to craft a themed drink menu and let your creativity run wild. So, let’s raise a glass and toast to all the amazing dads out there!
